A LITTLE ABOUT NAVAJO
The Navajo tribe ( pronounced NAV- AH - HO ) calls them self the largest tribe in North American Indians with 236 thousand. They named them self the Dine. Over about 1 thousand years ago they moved south and went to the western parts of the United Sates. There the Navajo met farmers then began to settle there and learn from them.

The Navajo believed that the sun is a spiritual force that was all life. The almighty belief is not a man pictured in the sky but is believed to be formless an exists in the universe. They call the sun the almighty. They don't worship the sun but pray to the almighty. The sun is a sign of the almighty.
